So, I think when new children programmes are appearing on the telly, child celebrities starts to grow old (aka go to prison or have a meth problem), and bands falling apart or splitting up, that is when it hits me. I’m not a one-digit year old girl anymore but gonna be a Version 2.0 next year. T.T

Besides, graduation is coming soon. Means I have to start thinking about what I wanna do after studying. Work? Study? Marry? (haha. tough luck)

Haish. And the current horrible news is that my all time favourite group is splitting up! WESTLIFE! T.T
I remember the day I first heard “If I Let You Go” on MTV and that was when I was in looooove with Shane! (Pardon me, but I was in Primary school then.) Remember I had a disc-man and this album folder with most of their albums. Their beautiful voices.

They have been serenading us with their amazing voice for a decade and now they’re having their farewell tour in 2012. Sadly, I didn’t get to catch them when they were here.

Those men were the reason why I started to sing in my room or when I was alone at home or even in the toilet. Those men were the ones who made me so feel so at ease with their songs “Flying Without Wings”, “I Miss You” and how I love the happy tune of “Change The World”. All their songs are somehow engraved in my brain. Currently in my head: “If Your Heart’s Not in it”

And I remember they would usually release a new album somewhere in November each year. So for this year, I was waiting for that too. But apparently, the only album I will be getting is their Greatest Hits. T.T

But one must learn to let go because they are no longer the boys with bubbly personality and lots of energy anymore, they are now either Fathers, Husband or Lover to someone special.

And so, yes, we are old.

To think that the Sorcerer’s Stone was out 10 years ago kind of struck me; 10 years flew by that quickly. Honestly, I didn’t even noticed Harry Potter was on for 10 years. The movies lasted half of my life and now it’s ending.

10 years may sound like a small figure, but in terms of time, it’s massive.

Reading twitter, visiting Tumblr and YouTube got me emotional and glad cos’ through this, I just felt so touched by the love other people in various countries have for Harry Potter. As for me, I’m truly sad it is the end. But all good things will and one day come to an end. So for Harry, it ends this July. I will watch the Deathly Hallows Part 2 soon. But who knows, I might even watch it twice. :’)

Cos’ Hogwarts will always accept and welcome Wizards and Muggles anytime.

Listening to his English made me want to learn Korean. (I’m just saying) Cos’ seriously, his English is dope! This song titled ‘Abandoned’ recently released a music video but that link above is the English version.

Then suddenly he appeared with my favourite YouTuber here.

Now that I look at the big picture, I’m happy he is a solo artiste.

Oh, somehow I just love Koreans who makes English versions of their songs. Well, the reason is so I can understand the song. Hah. Like 2NE1′s Can’t Nobody. Love that song. Especially this line ‘Asians we rise with the sun’.

Sorry about the above fangirl-ing. I was supposed to continue with my assignment but then I got distracted from Youtube videos. Well, I still got time to do my assignment. (Hopefully) Otherwise, I will just have to burn some midnight oil one of these nights. And tomorrow is another dreaded 9-6pm school. Danggit! Shall just depend on food to keep myself awake tomorrow.

How to pass NAPFA like this? Not that I have any intentions to. Hah.

And since the my family members had a bonus from the big people, I got to go shopping with mummeh yesterday Bought new clothes and splurge! So happy! Wanted to get shoes but mummeh said not nice. Aiyah. Will buy that pair of shoes next week! I DON’T CARE.

Once in a lifetime, we will definitely face ‘guilt’. No matter how bad we don’t want to, we have to.

As for me, it happened when I visited my dad’s workplace. No, I’m not a rich kid with a fancy house or fancy car. I would say my family is in between the rich and poor. But back to my dad’s workplace. I was there to deliver some essentials like toothbrush and phone charger since he was working the night shift. He also got news that he wouldn’t be home the next morning because he had to cover a shift for a fellow colleague. So imagine him working for 24 hours without sleep. Also, his job require him to stay alert and focused at all times.

So that is when my guilt kicked in. Cos’ before he went to work that night, I actually got into an argument with him. Although I knew he was angry, he calmed down and went off to work. But looking at what he does to support my family got me thinking.

What have I done for this family? How can I raise my voice at them now knowing that they suffer so much for this family?

I swear the guilt struck me bad. I guess we just can’t take things for granted. Also, there is always a bigger picture out there for us to see.
